EKNOX crest EKNOXMetals & Minerals

Sectors

Metals, minerals, and anything a sovereign seller can lawfully bring to market.

One origination-to-settlement discipline, applied across four practice groups. The chain of custody is the same in every case; only the verification method and the receiving facility change.

Precious Metals

Gold, Silver & Platinum Group Metals

Our founding practice: doré, bullion and refined bar consignments from state mining bodies, licensed exporters and registered artisanal cooperatives. Settlement is priced against LBMA benchmarks and paid on independently assayed fine content.

Critical & Battery Minerals

Lithium, Cobalt, Nickel, Manganese, Graphite & Rare Earths

Origination for the electrification and battery supply chain, where the underlying diligence burden is often heavier than in precious metals — cobalt from artisanal sources and rare earth separation both carry Annex II-level scrutiny as standard, not exception.

Base & Industrial Metals

Copper, Zinc, Tin, Bauxite, Iron & Chromite Ore

Bulk and containerised concentrate and ore consignments moving to smelters, refiners and industrial offtakers. Volumes here are typically larger and lower-margin per tonne than precious metals, which places a premium on tight logistics and insurance cost control.

Gemstones & Specialty Minerals

Diamonds, Coloured Gemstones, Tantalum & Specialty Concentrates

Graded parcel origination, where verification means an independent grading house rather than an assay laboratory, and provenance documentation follows the Kimberley Process or equivalent scheme in addition to EKNOX's own origin checklist.

One discipline, four sectors

What changes by commodity, and what never does.

The document set and verification method adapt to the product. The underlying protections — escrow, independent measurement, sanctions screening, documented custody — do not.

Changes

Verification method

Fire assay for precious metals; ICP or XRF assay for base and battery minerals; independent grading for gemstones and specialty parcels.

Changes

Receiving facility

Refinery for precious metals; smelter or processing plant for base and battery minerals; grading house or cutting centre for gemstones.

Changes

Provenance scheme

OECD Annex II for conflict minerals; Kimberley Process for rough diamonds; EKNOX origin checklist applies across all four sectors as a baseline.

Never changes

Escrow, screening, custody, documentation

Every consignment, regardless of commodity, passes through the same seven-stage chain of custody and the same sanctions and beneficial-ownership screening.
